This week's article is about sophisticated fashion. We are seeing different fashion icons nowadays. Rather than socialite chic, there are more polished looks inspired by the likes of Kate Middleton.

Is your style more sophisticated or socialite/Barbie-ish and which one do you prefer? What do you think of the fusion of fashion and knowledge inspired by cute items like the Posh Pocket books?

I definitely prefer the sophisticated look. It's more chic and 'in' and also I'm comfortable wearing that..and speaking of the Posh Pocket books, I think they are absolutely amazing! What more wonderful way to make your read comfortable as well as fashionable?

Great article Dina. I love experimenting with fashion but I definitely think the Paris Hilton look is not good. As cool as body con dresses and micro minis with platform heels are there are very few times and places to wear them. Sexy and The City used to feature this look once in a blue moon (not often for a reason). It looks cheap and slutty and like you said very bimbo. Who wants to look like a bimbo.

I personally love the whole Madmen look and the Dita Von Teese look or the old school Femme Fatale look. That's sexy, sophisticated, and classy.

The whole socialite look is so 80's music video. It needs to die!

Thanks Monica, I so agree. I love this femme fatale often vintage-ish look. This is the new fashion inspiration by the way. I just saw a photo of Paris Hilton in this black and pink dress and that bad hair and odd sunglasses, it's like Paris get over yourself already, she looks like her wax figure.

This is the photo if you want to see it.

OMG she is just too much. Do you think she'll ever grow out of her Barbie Fairytopia phase?

Jodie, I really agree, I love the sophisticated look for all occasions and even for just going out for coffee.

Isn't Pocket Posh amazing? Monica, do you agree with Jodie and I, they are so darn cute.

Fairytopia LOL, weird world Paris lives in.
