With the holidays upon us, do you plan on giving someone a board game?

What is your favorite board game?

Mine is monopoly........

As a child, we would all gather at my grandma's house every Christmas back in Jamaica, West Indies and play. It would literally take ALL DAY But is was FUN!!!!

I'm giving Hedbanz to my daughter. Think it will be fun for all of us. Last year she got Elefun and Candyland Castle. She enjoys both.

We seldom play Monopoly anymore. My husband is too competitive. LOL. In fact, there are people who refuse to play Monopoly with him ever again.

I like games such as The settlers of catan, uno, monopoly, alhambra. WE play a lot of Scrabble. As a matter of fact, I received a Scrabble Dictionary for Christmas, very cool. It was very enlightening to find there are words that start with Q but do not have a "u" as the second letter.

Wow, what a response to my post. I am so GLAD to see that others are still playing and enjoying "board games"... With all these "electronics" now in our lives I was beginning to wonder. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
