Has anyone else had a feelings like a bed sinking while your were sleeping, like someone sitting on the end? Or, goosebumps and tickle like sensations?

Sometimes I feel like a walking tuning fork. It isn't all the time, but comes in cycles and depends too on the house I'm in. I've had sounds of furniture scooting back and forth across an attic of a house I stayed in awhile back. I was certain, when they told me what they wanted me to investigate that I'd find a logical explanation. But, that one I heard for myself. It sounded like a poker game being played with chairs scooting out from beneath them.

It could be that different sensitivities can have different physical reactions when they are "triggered."

I can see or hear something that doesn't fit, gives me a "hinky" feeling, or some connotation of being wrong or bad, etc. I don't know exactly why it's bothering me, but continues to do so until I hear or see something else that's related in some way. I'll have a LOUD CLICK sound off in my mind. At once the "hinky" feeling is validated and details come flooding in. The details are things I would have no way of knowing at that moment. The click is so loud within me, my body instinctively reacts. I honestly cannot remember my Clicks ever being incorrect.

With a "spirit" nearby, I get a tingly sensation and the strong feeling of being watched. The sensation of falling or sinking in the bed, I hate that one, and have never been able to attribute it a specific ability. It hasn't happened in a long time. It could possibly be connected to what I will be dreaming once I get to sleep. That's something to make a note of for the next time it happens.

I think that about says it Jane smile

Sometimes, with me, I have to admit, the temptation is there to just black-wall some of the feelings, a break I guess you'd call it. It's successful, sometimes, and this is weird, but I can either be successful for hours or months. I think it depends how shot I feel or stubborn.

The sinking bed thing. That one I just can't find a logical explanation for. I know the feeling where you are just about to fall asleep and you feel you're falling, but this is an indentation feeling where weight shouldn't be if you're the only one in the bed.

I wonder if we don't just flip a channel so to speak and pick up certain stations in our sleep or spacing out where it's enough to sense a projection of someone else consciously thinking of being there, sitting on your bed?

i've had the sinking feeling since I was a little girl. I remember telling a "wise woman", (thats what i call her) and she told me to tell the "Weight/being" to leave!!! Being so young, (I was in middle school)I was so afraid and use to this occurrence that I said nothing. It was not until my sophomore year in college which was only a year and ahalf ago that I took a stand, it was then that i heard a voice in my ear in an unusual language. not only was I fearful but I was stone frozen. For some reason i couldnt move. I consulted my mom and godmother and their friends, they are very spiritual people (ministers, healers, prophetess and the likes) They prayed for me and told me that the power is in me to control my surroundings. It did not take long for me to gain confidence and strength. I havent had that experience since. It took me practically my whole life to come out and say that their was something unique about me. I waited until I was in college to even express. now I'm on my way to help others, I'm now more comfortable expressing myself, the dreams and visions I see. I see pain in others and I get this urge to heal with my hands. I give thanks to God for it all

Your description sounds a lot like the ones I have. And I can't tell you how wonderful it is when you are born into a family that embraces-guides your gifts instead of condemning or poo-pooing them away.

I've noticed some variations with the sinking thing, have you?

for instance, there's sleep paralysis, and man is that a scary/panicky feeling. I'm awake but can't move but for blinking and I have to consciously start with making my finger move.

There's the sinking feeling that's similar to the feeling right before you fall asleep, but it doesn't stop and zoom, i'm out of body. I feel cool breezes sometimes.

There's the sinking bed feeling, like the end of the bed where my feet are, but over a bit and there's a heaviness, like on my chest...similar to someon sitting on my chest and those are usually accompanied by presences.

Yes, I have had this. I can't move but I attempt to move my fingers too. One time my eyes were open but everything was blurry and I couldn't move but I could feel weight on me. It was such a weird feeling, and I couldnt for the life of me figure out what was going on. So as I child I kept quiet...

I think this has a lot to do with sleep paralysis (by name).

But what I think it really is, is a fraction of brain activity.

Within this fraction, I see a portal of sorts, kind of like the "dead zone" movie, that is.

You're working somewhere in between. When you're working in between, I think there's just a window where, you're not completely physically attentive (that part of the brain) but not all the way induced...somewhere in the middle is where we seem to be the closest to where we came from. smile
