The dog days of summer are packing a bigger bite than usual here in drought-ravaged Texas. I've got the 'dog days of summer' blues but I've also just posted a few dog-day inspired recipes on my Cocktails site.
Being a real dog fanatic, I think I'd throw a super-easy dog days party by inviting friends with dogs AND their dogs to the party. That sets the stage for me but what about you? What party favors, foods, drinks, and decorations would you use to host a dog-days-inspired party? What music would you and your favorite hound dogs listen to?
