Does anyone know if there is such a style as "solo trumpet" playing a melody like "Blade Runner Blue - Vangelis" I know it`s very specific, so thank you for any input

It's kind of a combination of smooth jazz and ambient electronica. Check out some World Ambient Symphony, Tangerine Dream, or Chris Botti.

Just listened to a few songs from Random Walk Out of The Sun by World Ambient Symphony and it's such a great album. The song Core sounds a lot like Blade Runner blues.
