Plus size men and women have a harder time keeping cool during the summer with all the extra insulation.

I find it is incredibly important to drink lots of water on hot and humid days and I like to have iced tea if I've been particularly active (I've been moving a lot of dirt and mulch the last few weeks so the iced tea has been an incredible treat). June and July I also tend to eat a lot of watermelon. One of my favorite products that have become a necessity are Pambras bra liners. They collect extra sweat and protect the skin.

What are some of the things that help you stay fresh and cool during the hot days of summer?

1. Wear loose-fitting сotton clothing of a light color.
2. In an air-conditioned house.
3. Take frequent baths or showers with cool or tepid water.
4. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these will promote dehydration.
5. In a shopping mall, public library, movie theater, or other public space that is cool.

Yes, I couldn't survive without the air conditioner here. Pretty much every place we go has a/c.

My secret is scrubs! There are so many cute styles and in plus sizes. They BREATHE, dry out quickly if I'm "glowing" and aren't clingy like awful knits. It's been SO hot this summer that I went out and got some scrub bottoms. I usually just wear jeans or capris with my tops but even those are too warm now.
