I have posted an article on quilt acronyms and I'm wondering if you can add to the growing list in that article. I don't mind if they are common acronyms or ones you make up. Let's see how far this can take us.

I'll start the ball rolling......

Love it dewdrop38, and very clever too!

We will call it a "create" moment!

LMSA -Leave My Stuff Alone

I'm sure this isn't a problem to those of you with sewing rooms, but my dining room has to do double duty. It isn't just my husband moving things, it's also the grandkids that think they have the right to play with whatever Grandma leaves lying around.

But I thought you might also get a kick from this recent Facebook entry ~

MIDDLE AGE TEXTING CODES:

ATD -at the doctor.
BFF -best friend fell.
BTW -bring the wheelchair.
BYOT -bring your own teeth.
FWIW -forgot where I was.
GGPBL -gotta go, pacemaker battery low.
GHA -got heartburn again.
IMHO -is my hearing-aid on?
LMDO -laughing my dentures out.
OMMR -on my massage recliner.
ROFLACGU -rolling on floor laughing and can't get up.
TTYL -talk to you louder!

This seems to be 'liked' by young and old alike. laugh

Happy Quilting wink

Loved the "middle age texting codes. Here's my quilt acronym: N!IDNEDA NO! I Do Not EVER Do Alterations. Amazing how many people think that since you have a sewing machine you can (and will) fix, hem, take in, let out, sew up things. Keep on stitchin'.

Great stuff Gail. I was at the Queensland Quilters meeting today and our president mentioned that she mended her husbands underwear. You should have seen the incredulous looks from over 100 quilters. MEND? WHAT IS THAT?
