Pfingsten and Fronleichnam, Pentecost and Corpus Christi, are major Christian festivals in Germany.

Religious and public holidays with special services and processions and, as with many German celebrations, they include a mixture of secular and pre-Christian traditions while bringing to an end the series of religious festivals that began with Palm Sunday.
