BellaOnline Forums Career Business Owners Your life purpose isn't your profession?

Do you think it's possible to have a successful business that you have no passion for or that isn't your life purpose. Some experts say your purpose isn't your profession and I can see how this makes sense but I don't believe I would be happy owning a business that I wasn't passionate about or that felt like it wasn't at least part of my life purpose.

I just finished reading The Passion Test by Chris and Janet Attwood and started reading The Life You Were Meant to Live by Dan Millman. Both are great books that talk about this in depth.

I know there's more to life than the work you do but I question whether a person could have a successful business if it wasn't aligned with their life purpose. What do you think?

At present, my life purpose isn't my profession. But I try to make it aligned with life purpose. Maybe it needs time...

Well that's a great way to be if you are still working on figuring out what you want. It does take time to find your niche in business and in life : )
