Thank you for posting the yummy meatballs in a pita recipe. Unfortunately, we can only post original recipes, and this one was on another site. I needed to remove it.

Please come back to post again! Give us your original ideas. We just have to have original recipes due to copyright laws.

You opened a great discussion. What works well on a pita? Meatballs, veggies, hot dogs??

That sounds like a tasy recipe using a pita pocket. I'm wondering if there are others anyone would like to share.

I make Pita pockets with hotdogs.

Cook hot dogs as normal. Slice in 1/2 cross and lengthwise to make 4 parts.

Thinly slice potatoes (slightly thicker then potato chips). In a little oil - fry potatoes, green peppers and onions.

Toast the pita pocket and place the potato mixture and hot dogs into the pita pocket - with a little mustard - delicious!!!

Anyone else?
