This guy just started a personal styling and shopping service for men conducted over Skype. He claims it's the answer for guys who hate shopping (most guys).

What do you think, does your man hate shopping or is this one big stereotype?

LOL, not mine wink I am the one that hates shopping and will find some place to sit my butt down and chill while he spends literally hours browsing and maybe buying.

Hahaha really Angela? I can't imagine, how can anyone hate shopping? So indeed it's a stereotype.

My ex-husband used to love shopping more than I did. One summer in South Beach he dragged me around to all these boutiques and shops and I was like enough!

He loved spending money which is why we are not together anymore laugh

My boyfriend now is exactly like me. We both know what we want and we research ahead and then order it or go to the store we know has it and buy it.

No bargain shopping, no browsing no wasting time even if it means spending more and we both have expensive taste in shoes which I love cuz he always buys me killer shoes for x-mas. He truly hates shopping and I'm not a huge fan either.

When we were on vacation he saw this cool dress at Saks as we were walking through the store to get back to our car and he was like I love that and I said I know that dress would fit me really well. We looked at the price and it was $1900. We just burst out laughing and the sales lady laughed too and was like yeah you picked a good one.

I read once that if you see something you love and you want it then you should just get it if you can afford it vs. just buying a bunch of cheap bargain stuff all the time. I think people who buy cheap stuff all the time end up spending more in the long run. My aunt, my mother in law, sister in law, ex-husand all examples of people in massive debt because they "bargain shop". Two of these peeps have lost their homes because of their over spending on cheap stuff.

I can see how that site for men would help men avoid over spending.

Wow Monica, you didn't strike me as someone who hates shopping! I SO AGREE with you on the expensive stuff. I used to be a bargain shopper and in the end I threw away all the cheap stuff.

Quality clothes last longer and they look chic; their price just shows. Do you watch Fashion Avenue? They buy all this expensive stuff, but it just looks great. You can always mix and match.

Don't hate it just not a huge fan but I'm one of those people that when I see something I like I eventually find a way to get it (kind of scary).

BTW, thanks for the tip on Fashion Ave. I'll have to check that out.

My husband said:"Men just don't like shopping as much. When they do go shopping, they spend less time at it and visit fewer shops." I never let him go shopping with me.

Wow! Hahaha, shopping is so much fun ladies how come?

Astera, that's good, I think girls make better shopping partners. Men have good taste, but they can't be bothered.
