That's actually a great motivator, Monica. I never thought of that - saving the workout until the end of the day. I have to wake up at 4:30 or 5:00am to workout or I won't get it in. My children are home before dinner and that's crush time. After dinner? I'm way too tired to do anything.
But, saving something to "reward" yourself with is a good motivator to stop "working", however that's defined.
Tuculia -
I was an 11 on the work/balance quiz. I saw that quiz, thought I took it before, guess I didn't. I'm weeks ahead in my writing so I thought it was funny that you posted that quiz and then my article came out.
What's funny is - I don't "really work". I was thinking about my writing and my volunteer positions at the boys' school as my "work".
I work very hard to stay balanced in all areas of my life but realize that we don't stay in balance for very long. If you're completely balanced, then you're done. There is always something to work on. I guess it's more like a pendulum and being aware of what side you need to be leaning toward at any given moment.
