I hear avocado is great on hair. To make it into a paste, apply it on hair before washing. I used to apply a type of oil that originates from India and knew it only by the brand - MBR. Supposed to make your hair thick and maintains the natural colour. It worked but as years go by, too busy to even buy it and apply:(

A small tip that I learned: don't blow dry your hair every single day! I used to and had thin, straw like hair. My wiccan friend recommended for me to let my hair dry naturally as often as possible. I have reddish/blondish hair that's normally quite thin. About 15 yrs ago, I stopped blow drying it every single day and now it's long and strong and shiny! Now to deal with the silver hairs popping up at the crown!! lol

LOL, great_grandaughter, are you going to let the silver hair stay or dye them?

The thing with blowdrying the hair is to use a thermal protector, a large toothed brush that smooths the cuticle, and to not put it on high heat and pull the hell out of your hair.
You can blow dry every day without ruining your hair if you do it correctly.
