Can you share which ADD meds work for you or your children?

Lori, I so appreciate your posts. I was cruising around your site the other night, not logged in, so I didn't post. You have such a lovely site. The foods look just fabulous.

Our youngest son took Japanese in high school. His teacher lived with some friends of ours while she was in the U.S. Unfortunately, Takei went back to Japan. Her dumplings, the ones starting with a g, were just the best.

In answer to your question about medications, I worry about posting specifics. Some people might take it as a recommendation.
Very dicey legally! Stimulant medications have worked for all of us at some time or another. They help us focus better and get more done. All of us can limp along without them. We don't do as well. I know you've said that you have other meds that you take. Really, a good pharmacist can be a Godsend.

I'm not sure that his has helped, but I enjoy talking with you.

Connie

I understand. Never thought of that possible risk when posting for the public.

Do you find exercise helps at all?

As for those dumplings, you must be talking about "gyoza." They are delicious!

I am absolutely talking about gyoza! It is a food for any time-breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, raiding the fridge in my sleep...

Yes, exercise does help me focus, especially Tai Chi. I used to take classes, but there is no time, and they are expensive.

My days are absolutely nuts during the school year. I get up at about 4:30AM and go to bed about 11:30PM. Exercise occurs when I am running around the classroom like a horse on a track or up and down the stairs at school.

Hi Kathie!

We're glad you found the forum, too! I take omega 3, just because it is good for me to do so. I hadn't heard about it helping with symptoms of ADD. I learned something new today!

Sometime in the near future would you like me to do an article on nutrition that is research-based? I do know there is some new info out there that I haven't fully explored.

Just say the word, Kathie!

Have a blessed week!
Connie (who loves to use !!! all over the place!)
