I'm from Maryland and growing up in school some people put mayo on their fries sick Yuck I hate mayo so it makes me sick to even picture it. Gravy on fries is a big thing here too. I may have had gravy on fries once in my life. I just stick to ketchup. Occasionally when I have boardwalk fries I'll put vinegar and Old Bay on them but only with boardwalk fries not regular fries.

French fries - yum!

First - french fries with mayo..YUCK! When we went to Europe a few years back every place we ate at served mayo with the fries and when we asked for ketchup they looked at us like we were insane. Not to mention they usually charged us for the ketchup!

When visiting Canada love the fries with cheese and gravy! It is called poutine and have not seen the dish in the US - which is good for my heart and figure!

Usually ketchup on the fries or if it is boardwalk fries then some vinegar and salt - tastes just right by the ocean!

Fries are one of the few junk foods I do eat and I love them with mustard and ketchup, or Mayo (German style), chili and cheese, or really hot sauce. Fries are soooooo good especially if you make them yourself at home. I only have them after I work out like a dog though that way my body uses the carbs instead of storing them as fat!

Fries with a mix of mayo and ketchup was a good taste for me, we all have a different kind of taste for the fries, but all I can say that fries was so yummy!

Ketchup, salt, and pepper - lots! And I agree, gravy on fries is great as well.
