My granddaughters have grown out of almost ALL their jeans!! My darling daughter gave them all to ME!!! There must be 15 pair!!! So i thought i would make some little jean pocketbooks!!! I'll use the top for a bag and the legs for the strap or smaller handle!! I'm so excited because i was bored with the beading and painting. I'll post some pics when i make one!!! Elaine

Do you have a pattern for the pocketbooks? I'd love a referral. I've got at least 10 pair stacked in the family room. Some I'll be able to cut off for shorts, but a few are so "holy" and worn out, a pocketbook is about the only option for me to use them in some way.

I've been recycling fabric like crazy, but I'm not much into pocketbooks. I made a great princess line jacket out of a few pairs of old jeans, though. It turned out really nice.
