I went out to eat with a friend. He took us to a restaurant he goes alot to and knew a waitress there. She might have been a relative?

Anyway they were talking and I phazed out. It's when voices get muffled and my "stuff" kicks in. Anyway, I came back and said, "Are you in school?" She said, she's graduating college. I asked what she was going to do afterwards, she said she didn't know. She had a boyfriend here but he didn't know what he wanted and there's an internship she wanted, but they were only chosing 50 people across the US. Plus, she really wanted to move to FL.

Wherever you go when you phaze out...well, I said, "Do you have access to a fax machine?" she said, yeh.

I told her "Fax your resume and a killer cover letter and I feel you'll get the internship."

She said, the instructions said, only one submission per student and she already mailed hers. I phazed out again and said, "It'll be o.k., you're not sending like 100's. Plus, last one out, first one seen. I'd do this. Plus you end up meeting 3 different men down there and you actually end up having to choose."

I went to the restaurant by myself again, and she came up to me. I wasn't in her section. She said, "do you remember me? I just wanted to tell you... I did what you told me and I just got a letter that said I got the internship. I move after graduation. And, my boyfriend and I broke up"

I had to act nonchalant, but I wanted to catapult out of the the booth. She kind of left the table looking over her shoulder and ran into a set-up table. I told her to be on the look out for those 3 new men...

But anyway, these are the good ones that make it all worth while.

Spectacular story! Those are the sorts of things that you are on this planet to do!! I'm always amazed when I get info that sounds crazy and I tell the person, most often it is not believed. Congrats Ellise on the terrific validation!! yet another confirmation that you are doing the right thing :-)

Over the years I've been trying to present this stuff in just a plane-jane way, you know? Not exagerated, just how it is, the good the bad, the great and the ugly, lol.

But from the amount of time I can remember, which it's been about since age 7-8 or so, but I have flashes of being 3 and 4 asking my mom what was going on? And she'll say, how on earth could you possibly know that?

But from my experience, it's wonderful in that it takes you beyond the physical, here. It's proof of there being absolutely more and that we're a part of that. It isn't evil.

I've found it comparable to driving. Just because you're in the car, doesn't make it evil. But being a part of the driving community, you're bound to run into some awful things. Good drivers, bad drivers, drivers that use their vehicles for bad, very bad things. But with awareness and responsibility in maning your own vehicle you maneuver.

Now say I'm driving a car, but I refuse to accept my car is on and driving then a lot of extra wierd things can happen that could have been avoided. Just workin out the kinks smile
