I love scarves and I just learned to tie a silk square scarf a couple of different ways I had not tried before. The first way is to fold it in half multiple times until you have a rectangle then tie around the neck in a double knot and puff out the ends. Look like a big flower at the neck. Very pretty.

The other way was to fold it into a triangle then tie it around the back so the point hangs low around the front then you twist the bottom point up and under multiple times and it ends up looking like a long necklace. Makes a more serious silk scarf look very casual and cool. Love it!

Does anybody know how many ways there are to tie a square scarf? Please list as many if you can if you feel like sharing.

Hi Monica, I am obsessed with scarves. I was actually going to give you this really useful page on scarves.net that taught me how to tie so many scarves, but the site is down today. This Website has some real cool silk scarves. How does your look like? I just brought this amazing scarf, it is inspired by the Egyptian countryside (since I am Egyptian) and wore it on a black top, it looked divine. Take a look: (I hope the links are clear, they always look good in the preview, but somehow go bad when I post). Best, Dina Women's Fashion Editor

If you switch to full reply screen and use the little link button you can post links quickly and easily.

That Egyptian scarf you posted is very pretty. Mine is Navy with various shades of greens and blues and greys and looks like a stained glass window. I'm am scarf obsessed too : )
