A new series on BBC1. Drama series moving between the lives of two generations of the same family who live at 32 Brinkburn Street in 1931 and 2011. In 1931, Gracie takes in a lodger to make ends meet.

This is looking right up my street! And by this I mean - it's set in my home town of Manchester - like so many seminal English TV series, Coronation Street, Shameless to name but two. Am looking forward to watching/ writing about it smile
