I'm currently prego with baby #3 due in June. We're not finding out the sex, so we have to pick out a boys and girls name. We're wanting to stay with S names, because our other 2 children have S names. Their names are Stephen James (pronounced Stefen)and Shyanne Jolene. If this baby is a boy his middle name will be Derek, if its a girl I would like to use Lynn or Audrey for the middle name. Names we're considering: Shane Shawn Spencer Savana Serena Shaina Skyla Sierra (really like this name, but its my half sisters name, she's 5...don't talk to my bio dad and have only seen this kid once before. not sure if that'd be weird or not) Any other S name suggestions would be awesome!!!

From the current list, I like Spencer and Serena best.

Here are some other ideas:

Boys - Sebastian, Samuel, Saul, Sean, Scott, Simon, Sylvester

Girls - Sabrina, Sadie, Samantha, Sarah, Scarlett, Simone, Sylvia

Congratulations on your new baby! Choosing names can be so hard - I didn't name some of mine until after they were born. I have a Shane so I'm partial to that, but I also really like Spencer. I have another son named Seth, so there's another "S" for you.

From the girl list, I like Sierra, Serena and Savana with the middle name Lynn.

Another girl choice could be Schuyler or Skyler similar to your Skyla.

What helped me narrow it down when I was stuck on name choices was going by their meanings.

Naming my other 2 wasn't this hard at all. I think this time must just be because my SO is insisting that it be an S name....but I haven't fallen in love with any S names yet. ugh. I love Skyler for a boy or girl, but SO's name is Tyler so its too close. I was looking through T names as well, as both our names start with T...but couldn't find any that i really liked either. Who'd have thought naming a baby would be so hard lol!

Jilly, that reminded me of when George (on Seinfeld) wanted to name his future baby Seven & one of their friends took the name first. laugh
