I love spring and despise winter HOWEVER, coffee is really enjoyable when it's cold out. I do get a little bummed this time of year when I realize my hot latte isn't so lovely when I'm already a little warm... I do get the iced sometimes but it's just not quite the same and I have to pay for an extra shot to balance the extra water from ice. Anyone else love spring but miss the happy winter coffee?

yes definitely, I prefer ginger tea over coffee in winters and spring is always refreshing if added with a glass of cold creamy coffee.

Hi Catluvgal:

I don't do the "ice" coffee - just the hot one any time of the year.

Great post smile

Hi everyone! I live in the Philippines and summer is really hitting us right now. I still need at least a couple of cups of hot coffee every day, though, but when outside in the heat of the sun, it feels like I'm torturing myself sometimes. That's when an iced Americano hits the spot.

Hey Catluv smile Yes, I miss steaming hot coffee when it's hot out. It's always wonderful when Autumn rolls around, and I know I'm going to be getting my hot pumpkin spice coffee again!

I'm fine with drinking ice coffee in Summertime - I'll brew it a bit stronger, and usually add peppermint. But I LOVE my hot coffee!

I don't mind hot drinks in the summer. I know that's probably weird but my body seems to do better with drinks that are a similar temp to the weather or if it's insanely hot then an iced tea with not too much ice works for me.

I can crunch ice in the winter too but it makes me cold in the summer. My acupuncturist suggested I stick to lukewarm drinks all the time a while back. I think he was on to something.

That's interesting Monica... I have noticed I do better with room-temp water rather than loading it with ice. I'm just not crazy about the taste of room temp coffee LOL.

I agree Deanna,
Gotta love the hot coffee forever. Room temp for any liquid is nauseating for me.
