Have you ever cooked meat that was freshly killed? And by this I mean, either from your own hunting trip or someone else's. My boyfriend has cooked meat he has gotten from friends as neither one of us are hunters.

Yes, I have eaten freshly killed deer, wild turkey and pheasant. I've also prepared deer and wild turkey. My husband has not been hunting in years. However, we have lots of friends who hunt on a regular basis.
