Ni hao and hello,

It is my honour to introduce myself to you as the new editor in-training for the Chinese Culture site. I invite you all to join me at our BellaOnline community forum. There is no better way to get to know something than getting yourself involve.

As the Chinese says: "Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand."

Below are the two new articles featuring on the Chinese Culture site.

Basic History and Theory of Feng Shui
In this article, we set off to explore the historical origin of feng shui, its essence and true purpose. Once you understand the true meaning of feng shui, you may never look at it the same way again.

Chinese Recipe to Prevent and Reduce Hair Loss
This is a practical "how-to" article that briefly discusses one of the causes of unnatural hair loss from the Traditional Chinese Medicine view point. There are several safe and natural home remedy recipes that readers, if interested, may try.

Feel free to let me know what you think about the articles and I welcome any discussions about the articles or the Chinese Culture.

I look forward to sharing more insights of the Chinese Culture with you in my articles, newsletters and forum chats.

Welcome, loved the article on hair loss, not because I am losing my hair but because my friends and I have been looking for ginger hair conditioner that Aldi/Lidl (a supermarket) used to sell.

We all used it, we all loved it and then they stopped making it!!! So I am going to try and make some ginger shampoo and conditioner for everyone.

Thanks again, brilliant idea.

Linda

I am glad that you like the article.

Ginger shampoo is wonderful. Among other uses, it is great for "wind" related headaches.

Do let me know how you go with your homemade ginger shampoo and conditioner.
