May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. - An Old Irish Blessing

Have you heard of this exhibit? Small Spirits: Dolls from the National Museum of the American Indian. On view are more than 90 dolls from Native cultures throughout the Western Hemisphere, most from the 19th century through the present day, that reflect different communities and traditions of Native people. <picture from the NMAI website> I was trying to find a virtual exhibit link but no luck.

No, I have not seen this yet. This is so awesome -- because when I first started making small Native American style dolls, I gave my project the name of "Small Spirits" dolls. I have not yet set up a web site for my dolls, so guess I cannot use that name.
I will take a look at the site. I love doll making. Their tiny mocs, beading, necklaces, etc are so fun to work on.
Thanks for the information.

I could not find the exhibit link either. But, I did find the book "Small Spirits" at the MNAI site and that reminded me: I put that book on my Amazon Wish List several months ago.
I will eventually order the book so I can have it for references in making my dolls. My dolls are 9" tall. I have to make several of them to take on my trip back to South Dakota in July. Maybe I can sell them to trading posts.
