I have the common teeth crumbling dream and the looking for a bathroom-but-can't-find-privacy (*sic* toilets out in the middle of a crowded room!) but the most common element of my dreams are houses. Usually it is other peoples' houses, or abandonned houses and I am looking for my room or my apartments and there is usually some haunted section I have to go thru to get to where I need to be. The best ones are when I dream of my childhood house or my grandmother's (but they are not quite the way they were in reality) and either the basement or the attic has all my old toys and the really cool thing about it is the toys are all still in the original boxes like they were new! In the dream it is like a big kick to see the old boxes. But if the dream goes on for too long the haunted/demonic thing gets in there and the toys become possessed. bitter-sweet dreams those.

I've had those same dreams, Stardrifting.

They are exquisitely beautiful, and unless you've dreamt them, it can't be imagined.

My latest recurring dream symbol is ::::drum roll:::: Mr. Tom Petty! Yes, the musician LOL!!! We are always talking about music. I am a singer/songwriter, and I have lately had the wild hair to cover some of his material - but I've done that in the past with Stevie Nicks {never dreamt about her}, Sarah MacLachlan {never dreamt about her}, and several other musicians - who I haven't dreamt about.

So, I'm having to think about what's going on!!

Gross toilet dreams LOL!!! I had some of those a few years back. They are such a trip! But a good indicator that it's time to "release" something, but not feeling that the environment nurtures that

Mine used to be water. The vast and open ocean. But it changed and I found myself on freeways, driving, driving, driving and somehow going on the wrong interchanges.

Today, I no longer have those freeway dreams. I usually dream of people, those who have passed and those who are still here. Prophetic and insightful things...

That's actually my sweet black lab. She never growls, so I pulled some her skin, gently of course, to show some teeth LOL!!! She was very good natured about it.

Lori, I used to dream about water a lot too. Then school.
