I know it's summer, but how is everyone doing?

I've been wondering where everyone is too : ) My guess is the weather is too good to pass up. It's 31 degrees (celcius) where I am today. That's a little hot for my liking tho!

Oh yeah! By the way, cross your fingers for me, I'm supposed to get a call today from my local PJ's Pet Center. They gave me a job interview and there's a good chance I'll get a job! I find out today. *bites nails* The bummer part is they didn't have an opening in fish. Drats. But I'd be working with puppies and kitties, which hey, isn't so shabbby either ; )

Yeah, it has been a little dead on the forum lately. Maybe people are on vacation? I know I wish I was.

it'a prolly that plus kids are out. man-oh-man when there's no school, it's hard to get time and privacy to get a few emails in there let alone plain ol' jabber time. <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Yup, it's tough to be online when the weather is so perfect. This is my season to enjoy the grand canyon, which I am obsessed with. In winter, my fish obsession takes over. I have outings every weekend and my business has picked up too, right now.

BUT, you are all doing a wonderful job helping the newbies with their questions and providing support for each other. Keep up the goodness!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> We are still the most helpful fish forum on the net!

Yep I still stop by regularly...well a few times a week. Busy , lovely weather, no new posts to respond to etc, so read and head on outta here again. Also have a new job taking several more hours but hey...more money for bettas right? Well actually no, need it for other things LOL

I'm glad to know everyone is there and having a great summer. We are starting to hit some hotter weather -- upper 80's, low 90's. The fish are loving it, because their water stays in the 80's, but the humans are sweating away. We don't have air conditioning in our house. Seems people think it's not needed in San Diego. <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I know, my parents (in Bay Park, SD) don't have it either. Nor do I have any AC in Flagstaff. A few fans takes care of the summer at 7,000 feet. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

ive been working up to vacation next month, busy doing uncles webpage and selling on ebay. my oto cats died last week after i changed the tank water. nebbie was fine, i really cant say what caused it. the water was 80, but they were living in 80 degree water since i got them and they were doing great. they started to get skinny a few days before the change, but i gave them cucumber and they ate it but wouldnt eat the wafers. i think nebbie is a bit lonely now. i dont know what i can get to eat the algae or if there is significant algae...i had to change the entire 3 gal tank every 2 weeks cause the otos pooped so much it clouded the water. i guess they could have starved... <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> i feel like [censored] cause i killed them. i know its mean, but im just glad nebbie didnt go either. the otos didnt have much personality.
its hot here in texas. i didnt know that i could sweat so much just being outside 5 minutes. its way hotter than last year which stinks! i just got 5 days vacation last week and i was told i have to use all of them before october. i cant do anything in sept cause my bf is busy with school. bleh. they better give me my vacation in august.
