I currently work at a placement facility for boys 14-21. I've been back to work for three weeks and I pump while I'm there (unfortunatly I have to use the bathroom because I share my office with two men). I'm very open about the fact that I nurse and therefore have to pump, with both my staff team and my clients. Thus far, they have been very accepting, although I'm sure there is quite a handful I have made uncomfortable. I believe it is good for the clients, many of which are teen dads, to expand their ideas of care for young children. And many are interested in the idea and ask appropriate questions. Yet, today, two young gentlemen decided to carry on a conversation about the size of my breasts during their English class.

I'm interested to see what kind of reactions others have had from their work place if they were pumping. Also, what types of reactions, good or bad, you've had from breastfeeding in public.

Thanks for the information and looking foward to hearing from you! Molly
