Sounds great, Jilly. I will share one thing that works well for me. I learned this in the hotel biz through trial & error. I do my "routine" and "have to" stuff first thing in the morning, or whenever you start work. It worked well then because as the day goes on, more stuff would come in & I'd be stuck at 5:00 with an hour of reports or something still not done. So, I started doing anything that was "due" first thing.

It doesn't always work--but if you make it a habit, it's fine to be flexible--for instance, you could have a list of things to do every morning, but once in awhile you might have an early morning walk and revise your schedule. Even if you skip a day or two, they still won't get too backed up. Probably. Depends on what it is of course!

Another benefit of that is things seem to take less time for me when I put them on routine and get them done before moving to something else.

I have tried the Eating the Frog thing first, but i find i simply can't do hard things first. I have to work up to them with simple stuff. My most productive time is mid to late afternoon. It takes me a while to get going. lol

This week i have been doing well with the socializing and the physical activity, and have been keeping up reasonably with work.I have to get everything in order by the weekend, however, since I have a retreat coming up next week and won't get much work in!
