You never quite know what an older skunk will do to a new baby. Though I rarely have heard of anything awful happening, nor have ever experienced it myself. The first several introductions should be well supervised. First of all, showing equal love of course, let the older skunk become familiar with the scent of the young skunk. Preferably using two people one to grab each skunk; introduce them on floor level. This is where you should be as well. Don't show fear or anticipation. See what the reaction is going to be. If all goes well, let each additional visit go a little longer. You should become familiar with their reactions. Chances are, everything will go fine. Let the little one get some experience and size before leaving them alone together. Penelope will enjoy her new companion I am sure. Please let me know how it goes.
