Have you ever come across a non-management employee that was extremely content in their position within the company? They might make an excellent manager, but their reasons for not wanting a promotion might be legitimate.

I Don�t Want to be a Manager

LOL, Dianne - I am one. I do not want to deal with the "stress" of managing other folks. Right now I am supervising several students for the professor I am supporting until 1/28 and cannot wait for 1/28 to get here!!!! I raised my child to be both "respectful" and "responsible" and these "diva children" I have are about ready to either send me to jail (for smacking them) or emergency room (stress)
