Should a Gospel magician have a fee for presenting in churches, etc. Is it more appropriate to work for love offerings or even for free?

I have a professional clown friend that use to go on "love offerings " and too many (big) churchs kept the offering and gave him a potted flower !

there should be minimums set at the first contact ( for travel
lodging, ect. )

then you pay them ! ;-)

I'd say have a contract. The Bible even says that the workman is worth his hire.
You have expenses and you are attracting attention for the Lord and his church.
