I just wanted to mention that I had misplaced my rubber broom for a while and I was going crazy. Nothing in here could stay clean. It was a minor nightmare.

Then LO - i found it! And yay, order returned. I keep it hanging by the door and use it probably ten times a day for quick sweeping of hair, dirt, and misc shmutz that ends up on the floor.

Soooo glad you found it!! LOL

I still need to get my hands on one of those. It's in the back of my mind, but I never actually see one when I am out shopping. The last time I saw one was at an RV show! Of course!

Right, these are not things you can find at Walmart. Flylady.net sells them and buying from her is a good deed. Petsmart also sells them.

I also can't live without my handheld rubber scrubbie. It's the same thing as the handled kind but small - I use that on my upholstery and the carpeted stairs to get off hair and crumbs.

So those are two must haves for me. They make my life simpler!

I also use a timer for cleaning, white vinegar in a spray bottle with water (1:1), Pledge Multisurface Spray Cleanser in Lavender, Murphy's Oil soap for wood, and Meyers Geranium Scented Window Spray. That last one smells divine.

I also have to keep Hot Shot on hand for pet accidents.

I also use cotton cloths and microfiber rags for cleaning, instead of paper towels.

In the shower stall, i keep my Little Green Machine and a small Stinger Shop Vac with a ton of attachment choices.

Lastly I have disinfecting wipes that i use all the time for sanitizing and quick touch-up cleaning. I compost those afterward.

This is a brilliant list Jill. Thanks for taking the time to share all of that. I'll be visiting the Flylady.net website!
