So just to get a few opinions. If you are writing a book about your interpretation of a particular path is it pretentious to name your variation of the path versus generically calling it (for example) Celtic Neo-Paganism. I mean after all when pagan paths were staring to come back in fashion in the 1940s we had several named branches of Wicca like Gardarian or Diana. Does the passage of time make a difference in acceptability?

Considering how all the paths interlink the more concise the name the better. There are so many that have come out of the 1950's general resurgence of Pagan paths that you're better off with a name that describes your approach rather than its' linage.

Hope that helped
