I can't get thru the door in the upper-level of the library (Not the elevator door) (The one that leads to the upper level of the entryway). It keeps on saying it's locked. what am i doing wrong??? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I think before you get out of the library that you have to do all of the various book-switching. Did you do all of them? I list them out in the walkthrough ... there's also the quest to get all the colored pieces right in that area too, to get the door to open that needs the pieces ...

Yeah i did all the book switching and it's the door that leads to the upper balcony, not the crested door. thank you so much for this help. <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
