Remember the girl bands, Banarama and the Bangles.
Both hot, both stylish.
But did you prefer one over the other?
I liked the Bangles - great musicians and great harmonies.
Most of the Banarama songs I heard had no harmonies - they just all sang the same thing.

The Go-Go's - In the Marine helicopters I flew, we had the capability to listen to AM radio (anybody remember that?). We had a station in Tijuana (that's right a true 'Mexican Radio' before Wall of Voodoo made them famous) that played the contemporary rock & we would be literally 'rocking' under the rotorblade to "We Got The Beat"
I have to go with Bangles - every day's a 'Manic Monday' here near 'the Hill.'

I reckon The Bangles beat Bananarama anyway - I agree with your point about the harmonies Deanna.

The Bangles had more good songs but for the styles I preferred Banarama.
