Who were some of your favorite female artists in the 80s?
I LOVED Stevie Nicks, Heart and Blondie, though I know they were big in the 70s too.

My favorite was Bette Midler. I also like Whitney Houston and Tina Turner.
Bette Midler is very versatile and I love listening to her sing.

Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue (who is still super fabulous), Annie Lenox, Cindy Lauper, Kim Wilde and Tina Turner was the bomb! She can still dance circles around tons of young pop stars.
I didn't like Madonna until I saw her Blonde Ambition tour in the 90's but loved her ever since.

That's about when I started liking Madonna too. Ray of Light was my first VERY favorite CD of hers.
