Hi I have three boys, the oldest is named Jude and then I have twins named Brien and Luke. Now my we are expecting a little girl! My husband and I like the name Allie as a first name but since the name is often used as a nickname we aren't sure it would be good as a full first name. What do you think? We are open for suggestions for any other names too. We also like the name Anneliese as a middle name. Please help! I'm due by the end of this month!

I like Allie and I wouldn't mind that it's often used as a nickname. If you like it as a full name, I think you should use it as a full name

I wouldn't do Allie Anneliese though.. I don't really like the combination.

My best friend's daughter is named Allie Danielle. Allie is a family name and I suggested Danielle because it sounded good with Allie. She's in college now (and also has three older brothers!).

Other possible middle names for Allie:

Michelle, Grace, Faith, Elizabeth.
