I like either a romantic suspense or a romance with a literary quality about it.

I'm a romantic suspense person, too. I like action to go along with the romance. I get tired of just watching two people drool all over each other smile. I like it best if they're solving a mystery together or one is having to save the other from some horrible fate...

Hello Maria, For some reason, heightened tension creates heightened romance, doesn't it? It also adds an interesting dynamic to the relationship.

I'm a little bit torn between historical and contemporary. I'll always love historicals because those were the first romances I fell in love with, but as I'm getting older I find that I identify more with the contemporary works. Still love a good vampire shifter story though.

Hi, I love historical romance books. My favorite period would definitely be either Regency or Victorian. Good poll!

I like romantic comedies, historical romances aka Victorian period; contemporary romances; action/adventure romances. Oh, and I love western romances.
