There are thousands of blogs on every topic you can think of so what makes yours stand out and why would somebody want to visit regularly or subscribe to it? Do you have a VPP or USP? If so what is it?
Mine is right on my site/blog's main page in big bold letters. You can't miss it. And it works (LOL). Check it out at fatloss workouts guide
I always think credibility comes from genuine personal experience and people respond to that. For example, I've put my self-publishing experiences onto my freelance writing site (below) for writers to see where I write and which publishers I use.
Monica, help! What is VPP and USP (lol). You know I am "clueless" - but learning

Credibility should be a given but that doesn't make your blog special. I've seen people fake credibility all to make a buck.
Bellashorts makes a great point about offering your unique point of view which is exactly what VPP and USP is all about.
I actually didn't do this very well in the beginning when I started my site/blog but after 6 months of writing I started offering surveys and I found out that most people visiting my site were struggling just like I did for 18 months to lose fat and weight so that became my VPP.
Workouts that work for people tired of struggling to get results. Even if you haven't established a very good VPP you can do it by asking your visitors or just offering a more personal view like short stories editor explains.
I am with BellaShorts on genuine personal experience. People crave that. Be as much yourself as you can, share everything on the topic that you have experience with, and your following will avidly seek more from you.
