Cloud10 is worth a look. They are usually hiring all the time for anyone interested in customer service or tech support from home. Pay varies between maybe $8.50 and 11.00 depending on the position. Your computer has to meet certain requirements, and they provide training. The wesite is www.cloud10corp.com
If anyone has any experience with this company please share!

Candice, great post and there are ALWAYS customer service jobs. Wish I had the "gift" to deal with irate people all day (lol). I hang up when they start yelling and cursing and companies don't like that. As the saying goes - the customer is always right smile

Lol, yea I have only worked one customer service position, and after that I said never again...that is unless I had to. But that also was because I had a quiet and soft personaity and did not know how to handle conflict and rudeness. The good thing is that the qualifications are few (if any) and the train and can be flexible. Its a good place to start seeking employment as they are fairly easy to get.

Hi Candice, let us know if you have any other job opening suggestions to pass our way. I am passing on your "Customer Service" one (lol). Would not make it through training with my HOT temper and unlike you, brave personality smile

How did you get interested in "unemployment" - you seem to have an awesome talent with knowing what to post....

Thank you!

Thanks a lot! I've heard West is good also, and there is alo a company called alpine access. There are a few others, but many of them hire you as an independent contractor rather than an employee, which i believe requires out of pocket expenses. Thanks again Top Picks.

Combining customer service jobs from home with writing for the internet could work - that way you could make good use of the high spec computer you would have to have, and maybe write about your experiences too. There are writing jobs online if you look, and a small passive income stream can soon build up - as I have found. I have noticed a growing trend for people to combine many small part-time jobs to make ends meet.

Hi BellaShorts, I think what is holding back alot of people from doing this is as you stated - the equipment requirement. I know I would love to do what you suggested, but do not have the funds to purchase the equipment. Thanks for sharing this info with us. Angela

Internet writing from home could be internet writing from the library lol! Lots of unemployed people find the library computers a great boon - and with hotmail etc you can have your whole writer profile be a virtual one - trouble is, like we talked about before, you do need paypal or similar. I use about four regular writing sites (inc bellaonline!)as posted on my site:

Hi BellaShorts:

Wow, thank you for the info and I finally set up PayPal = now I am set to go. I guess it depends on who you work for as I know I have seen some sites that demand special equipment. But from what you stated, I can find some that I can do work from the library computers.
