To help remember your dreams?

I think for me what works the best is just to regularly write in my dream journal. It seems that the act of doing it make me remember more the next night

Also, when I wake up a little earlier I'll remember more. Though that's not one I'd choose to do LOL!!

Continuing the dream once you wake up with any thoughts that come up. I just let my mind flow one I'm awake and this has made it easier to remember details from future dreams.

I actually don't have to do that anymore I now remember a lot of details. Is there a name for this?

Perhaps that is called lucid dreaming? In my search for understanding dreaming I have gone to the work of Carlos Castenada. He states that the goal is to become awake within the dream. He states that the dream world is as valid and real as this physical 3D world. When we are awake in the 3D we are alseep in the dream world and when we are asleep in the 3D we are awake in the dreaming world. The act of power is to be conscious in both worlds, and to have control in the other when it is happening... so if you are asleep in the 3D and going into a dream the goal is to take conscious contol of the dream and direct its activities.

I write my dreams in a journal on my nightstand immediately upon waking up. I wish... ok, I will say it, I wish I could document my dreams in writing while I am dreaming... is there a name for this? I know, I'm weird!! lol

While I was dreaming this morning, oh, it was so lovely, I remember thinking "I hope I remember to write this in my dream journal."

I am working with a circle of women that we call "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Talking Stick" We are planning a group dream encounter tomorrow night. The first goal is to see one another in the dream state. The purpose is stated upon going to sleep. a statement of clear intent.

I did this with a group of people a while back. The interesting thing was that none of our dreams matched up - though we did encounter each other LOL.

In my dream, we were all in a playground at a beautiful park. In a friend's dream, we were at a shopping center.

I need help on interpreting a dream I had two days ago. I was in a white car (the driver side) with 3 black man, I had a lot of cash on me and I was counting them nonstop and I was scared for the man in my car not to see the cash or still them. Has my dream any meaning .Please let me know.

Hey Arrow, you are a trip! I love Castaneda. He really was on a quest to experience all kinds of states including altered states (like the movie) which kind of brings up the whole shared dreaming movie Inception. Very cool, wish I could be there too!
