Anyone ever posted their original songs on Myspace and have something good come out of it? I would love to hear your story!

I haven't but most of my friends on myspace are musicians. It's a great place to hear new music by your favorite artist or listen to a different music.

I enjoy going through the playlists of my Myspace friends, and seeing what music is out there.

I always get errors when I try to post music on myspace

I have some of my own original music posted on my myspace, but other than a few compliments nothing "great" has come from it... yet (cross fingers).

I agree with straycat- myspace is a great place to find interesting and "different" music...a veritable buffet for those who tend not to listen to the radio because they can't stand what they are hearing. So posting your music on there can definitely help people find you! Oh, and yes, I do post original songs on there. :)

Depends on which internet radio is best for their taste in music in guess. My internet radio has crystal clear sound and I'm not stuck listening to rubbbish I don't like cos I can choose from great radio stations all over the world - still listen thru Myspace though.This one is my wifi internet radio

I have some of my music up on my MySpace page. People come and listen, and sometimes leave comments. I have not set up anything to make sales there. I have neglected my MySpace page, and it seemed that MySpace went through a bit of a lull in popularity, as Facebook came to the fore. But MySpace is likely to have a resurgence of interest. I just received a notice that there is something called the Facebook and MySpace Mashup, that merges some of one's Facebook content with their MySpace profile. I am going to watch for developments before trying it out, but it could have some benefits. MySpace is also going to a new format on 11/29/10. I hope it is attractive and easy to navigate. You can arrange to have your MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and some other online hubs linked together, so that if you post on one, it appears on all of them. This can be helpful for promoting yourself as a musician, or anything else.
