If you hadn't heard already, comic hero Spider-Man is headed to Broadway. The musical, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark is directed by Julie Taymor (who directed the film Across the Universe), and features music written by U2.
So, any thoughts about Spider-Man on Broadway? Does it make sense, since he's already appeared in film, or does it seem awkward?

The opening for Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark has been delayed. The show is now beginning previews on November 28, and will open on Broadway on January 11.

Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark has been pushed back yet again. The musical will now open on Broadway on February 7, 2011. According to reports, the opening was pushed back due to a key actor missing several previews due to an injury, as well as the producers deciding that more kinks needs to be worked out by the creative team.
