Remember having your heart broken, and there would be that one song you'd play over and over?

What was that song?

When I was in high school it was 99 by Toto, No Regrets by Saga, or Missing You by John Waite.

When I was older it was The Flame by Cheap Trick.

Painted on my Heart by the Cult - another good one!

I'm showing my age here but anything by the Carpenters! I listened to their albums over and over in my younger, more dramatic days

Seems like Tom Petty & the band made the topic - Heartbreakers.

Yes! My FIRST favorite Tom Petty song was "The Waiting," then came along "You Got Lucky."

I discovered him through Stevie Nicks in the early 80s. I LOVED Stop Draggin my Heart Around, and then found her singing a couple of songs on his albums. The Insider and You Can Still Change Your Mind - OH!!! Heartbreakers those songs, for sure! LOVE them!

The song I most remember listing to when my very first boyfriend and I broke up was "Insensative" by Jann Arden (not really rock I know!)
