Is the Earth a consciously living organism? What do you think?

That's a wonderful article, Linda, and certainly something to ponder! You could say the earth has parts of it which are inanimate rock - but human bodies have parts of us that are calcium too!

Linda this is a beautiful article that made my mind go off in several directions.

I believe that along with destruction there is a worldwide increase in consciousness for those who choose that path.

Understanding of and respect for the earth was strong in the druidic culture and I have heard that the druid way has recently been (or is shortly to be) classed as a religion in England.

The philosopies of karma and reincarnation give credence to the need for balance, in this life for the next, in this life and all others, and respect for all living things. If got is in all things as Hindus believe then is it right to direspect him/her in any form?

What are natural disasters telling us? The Asian tusnami, the earthquakes and floods in Pakistan...
