If you mean that your breasts no longer feel as "full" after a feeding, that's completely normal. Our bodies are amazing at regulating the amount of milk that our babies need. Speaking from experience, when my first son was nursing my breasts felt full a lot. I am now nursing my 3rd baby and I never have to wear nursing pads and my breasts rarely feel full.

If you are worried about your milk supply you could try eating some oatmeal every morning for breatkfast; But if your baby is happy and satisfied, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Hope that helps!

A good cup of strong fennel tea will promote the production of milk. It is a great time in your life to experiment with herbal teas as they provide an abundance of phyto-nutirents and minerals that will fortify your milk.

Stick to common herbs like mint, chamomile, fennel, green tea, and some of the mixes made by celestial seasons or similar companies. Avoid herbs that may have a hormonal or detox influence. This is not a good time for you to do a detox as many toxins will leave via breast milk.

I suggest that breast feeding is very necessary for a child as it develop antibodies within the body which helped child to fight against various diseases and provide strength to the body.

To achieve the strongest milk supply possible, it is essential that you:
* Breastfeed or pump at least 8 to 12 times a day
* Offer both breasts at every feeding
* Utilize breast compression
* Avoid artificial nipples

The best indicator about the quantity and quality of your milk is that your baby has enough wet diapers and is growing normally. You might want to consult with your pediatrician. I never had much milk left after either of my daughters nursed and I never had any problem with leakage. As someone else said, the body is usually quite good at adjusting production.
