Anyone gone completely organic with their grocery shopping? My husband and I would love to, but it's not in the budget quite yet. We do buy some organic items, and always buy organic milk. As far as meat, we have a store in town that sells "natural" meat from a farm about an hour away from here that uses no hormones or antibiotics. It's not certified organic, but it's close, and it tastes quite a bit different from the regular meat at the grocery store. Anyone done it? Have you felt better eating only organic (or mostly organic)?

The more I read about big agribusinesses and companies like Monsanto, the more I realize how important it is to buy organic and support organic farmers and local growers.

I am not completely organic, but if I have a choice in the supermarket, I will choose the organic option.

Some fruits and vegetables are particularly hard hit with pesticides. The 'Dirty Dozen' includes:

Peaches
Apples
Bell Peppers
Celery
Cherries
Nectarines
Strawberries
Kale
Lettuce
Imported Grapes
Carrots
Pears
