Okay, time to crank up the creative juices! Give me your feedback on how you're mixing plants to create drop dead gorgeous container gardens!

I actually have more ideas than I have space and money for all the plants combinations.

I have two very large containers, one in front and one in back that I put annuals in. This allows me to easily (and cheaply) swap out the plants in those containers according to the seasons and my mood.

I've already got my mums out there, but the weather has really cooled off here, so the Pansies are starting to call my name.

I think I'm going to take my Purple Fountain Grass out of another container, add Pansies as my filler and us the purple Sweet Potato Vine as a trailer. If I get orange and yellow pansies, that will really make the container "pop".

LOL- I'm headed to the local garden center!

Kay, that sounds like a great idea, and will be beautiful. That is the great thing about container plants. You can change around how you want to.

Thanks, PJK for the positive feedback. smile I got stopped on my way to the garden center - a dear friend of mine passed away, but I'm definately going to try this combination. Hopefully by the time I get it together, I'll know how to post pictures here, so everyone can get a look!
