I've heard people talk about their aeons doing about 99999 damage or a rapid attack doing 40K - 60K each time. How do you make the aeons better? do you have to use them a lot or do you have to level up Yuna?

youir aeons get more powerful as yuna does, you can also increse there stats using power sheres etc...

for them to do more than 9,999hp damage you need to have the celestial weapon relating to that aeon.

anima, bahamut and magus sisters can do more than 9,999 without you getting any weapons provided there powerful enough to do so.

to unlock the 9999 limit get these items

SHIVA:- lulus onion knight
YOJIMBO: - Aurons masamune
VALEFOR:- yunas nirvana
IFRIT:- Wakkas Word champion
IXION:- Kimahris Spririt lance

there are other celestial weapons for the other characters but they dont affect the aeons, also teh weapon has to have its first upgrade before it unlocks the barrier, hope thsi helps you out bud

err actully you need to COMPLETE the weapons, not just get them

you only need to have the weapons first addon to make the aeons break teh damage limit and dont say that aint true cause i know for a fact im right on this cause my yojimbo breaks teh damage limit and i havent got aurons second weapon part yet.

yeah squeaks he's right i don't have aurons completed yet either and my yojimbo does 15000 per attack

your probaly right i never even considered trying to get waka's or lulus weapon complet

did get the onion knight but shiva never broke the limit, i was not gonna try to dodge that lighting my best at dodging is about 5

only 5....that's not much <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ...well just get a no encounter weapon and go stand in a cloudy area there they come more constantly and uhm Wakka's just takes damn long with the blitzballing a minimum of 60 wins... I did it in uhm well I had the minimum lol 60 times 10 (+ let's say 3 minutes in between the games)
13 times 60 that's like 13 hours dude... that's like the minimum to get the crest or sigil or whatever it is

you can get the first addon piece for onion knight on the far plain, back in guadosalm or whereever it is, that will break shivas limit for ya.... i only managed 75 lightning hits before my girlfriend started talking in my ear, which made me lose it an BAMN!!! struck by lightning.... bloody well anoying cause lulus a main character for me an i dont have the weapon at a usable level yet.... ahhhh well try try another day <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
