Well, maybe not the whole world, just one budgies little part of it :P
Last week my family found a budgie- outside! The poor thing was terribly emaciated and dehydrated; I wasn't sure he was going to make it. He's only about four months old; far too young to die, as I figured. For the first few days he required round-the-clock care, including an incubator, and syringe fluids.
In the past few days, the little guy has really perked up! Dubbed "Sunshine" by my aunt, who found him, he really lives up to his name. By Friday I had him stepping up and getting scratches. Today he rode around on my shoulder, investigating my hair. He's really turned the corner- yesterday he even strated playing! All inquiries to find his previous home have failed. However, he may have a new home with a very good friend of mine.
I just had to share; this little fellow's indomitable spirit is just amazing. You'd never know he was once a "lost cause"!
